This hot rubberized asphalt is best for two specific applications: extensive vegetative assemblies or intensive roofing assemblies. It is incredibly flexible and sturdy, which also provides water vapor protection. That is why it is commonly used for waterproofing parking spaces, plazas, bridges, commercial roofs.   • Bituminous membrane: Since Bitumen is coal tar or asphalt, So to make a bituminous membrane, it is mixed with an organic liquid, which is very sticky.   • Cementitious coating: This is a mixture of sand, organic and inorganic chemicals, and a few silica-based substances. When these ingredients are mixed with lime, a hydration reaction takes place that creates a waterproof coating. Sometimes, an acrylic additive is also added to make the coating more durable and dependable.
  • Thermoplastic: This material is considered expensive, but it offers a plethora of benefits over others. It gives a proper seal to your panels and sheets and keeps your structure waterproof for as long as 50 years. It can resist impact and can keep liquid and air out. It is commonly used for waterproofing, flexible ducting, tents, curtains, split slabs, elevator pits, fountains, decks, tanks, property lines, etc.
